The Sheep Died!

The model of the sheep I was working on died today! I rushed into slicing it in half, which you have to do if you are making a piece to fire as you need to scoop out the clay from the centre, and it was too soft and warped out of shape beyond rescue. Will have another go next week. Am setting up to do a firing tonight and I will post the results when I take them out.
Bit miffed about the sheep as I had worked on it alot more today and it was starting to look like a sheep! Hi-ho, if I can do it once I can do it again. Next time I will know better. It was my first attempt at modelling to be fired rather than to take a mould from. Like most skills it seems an easy thing to do until you try it!
