As promised I have managed to cobble together some more video shot over the last week. This one shows the processes involved in making a teapot:
Friends (M&D, you know who you are!) asked me to make a large teapot for them some weeks ago. I threw a number but none were, as I thought, suitable. So this week I had another go. Hope you enjoy the video it's very fast and a bit loopy.
I did another firing last night and will show you the results when it has cooled down.
Thanks, as always, for visiting.
Hey Mark, great video. How did you put the hole in the pot for th tea to go down the spout, long knife? It looked tricky to get access.
ReplyDeleteI use a piece of the ink holder from a biro cut off at an angle. You just pop the holes through before you attach the spout to the teapot, after you have marked where the spout is going to go.
ReplyDeleteNice to know you still visit and that I haven't bored you to death yet.
Is this our teapot Mark, very Kookie but right up our street I think. Love It!! Mark
ReplyDeleteYes and you're welcome.
