Slow Release Of Breath...

...still here. I have been out today to Corby Kilns (my local supplier) to pick up a thermocouple element for my kiln. I haven't been able to get out for a couple of weeks because I sold my van and have only just got a new car (well, an old car, but new to me).
I shall be in the workshop tomorrow to fix the kiln and glaze the pots which have laying around since the kiln broke down.
I will then be able to start work on a range of pots I am planning for an exhibition I have been invited to. I'm going to take the opportunity to make some large sculptural pieces and I'll need to get a move on to complete everything in time for the exhibition, which is in July.
Thanks for visiting.
p.s: The exhibition has been organised by the Northern Potters Association and is being held at Thorsby gallery. I will keep you updated and will show you the latest firing results, as long as the kiln works, over the weekend.

  1. hope you get your kiln fixed ok, nothing like a broken kiln and a pending exhibition to put the pressure on!
