Frogs?

Managed to get throwing today. Couldn't get out yesterday, so I was starting to go cold turkey!
Threw some ball vases/ginger jars. Some at 1kg (2.2lbs) and one at 4kgs. I wanted to throw some larger ones, but I threw the large vase without a bat on the wheel, so I couldn't move it without risking damaging it.

You can see it above. It was just to thin in profile to risk it.

I have been thinking: I really should get some pots made to sell. I'd been planning to do lots of repeat throwing to sell locally, but I decided to make some more frog/animal pots first and get them onto ebay to see if I can sell anything. It seemed a bit daft to throw, glaze and fire hundreds of pots before I have enough stock to take out to sell; when I can relatively quickly make some sculptural pots.

Maybe I'm wrong...let me know what you think.
